Ajay and Kajol are coming together

It's been quite a while since we've seen Mr and Mrs Devgn together on screen. We've learned that Ajay and Kajol are coming together for a short film on the topic that's currently captured the nation's attention — female foeticide.

The actors are making this in their capacity as brand ambassadors for the state government's Save the Girl Child campaign, a responsibility the actors accepted last year. Ever since, doing this film was always part of the plan. However, things didn't work out. Now, in a month, everything is expected to be in place. The film will be roughly three minutes long.

When contacted, Ajay confirmed, "We are working on the script at the moment and should be ready to roll it within a month or so. Both Kajol and I will be part of this, and we will speak about female foeticide." When asked if he'd get Aamir Khan (who brought the topic of female foeticide back into the limelight) or other actors to also talk about the issue, Ajay said that it's too soon to confirm that, but it would be a "good idea" to do so.

Kajol added, "We believe in the cause and hence we have taken it up. Most importantly, we really feel that we can make a difference."

Hollywood Actress Kristen Stewart, Biography & sexy Pictures

Biography:
An exceptionally poised young film actress with a knack for challenging roles as troubled adolescents, Kristen Stewart got her big break playing Jodie Foster’s daughter in David Fincher’s hot-wired thriller, “Panic Room” (2002). As the teen’s profile rose over the following years, Stewart consistently impressed audiences and critics alike with her realistic performances and her choice of projects – which echoed Foster’s early career by straying far from family fare and jumping right into demanding adult dramas with aplomb. She would go on to make her biggest splash as Bella Swan, the tortured teen in love with a vampire in the pop cultural phenomenon, "Twilight" (2008) as well as its subsequent sequels. Such was her appeal as this particular film heroine that she would develop a huge fan contingent and hopeful rumors would abound about possible off-screen love with her equally gorgeous co-star, Robert Pattinson. Having come full circle as the tomboy trapped in a panic room to the dreamily romantic Bella, Stewart proved she was one of the more versatile young actresses of her time.

Born April 9, 1990, Stewart was raised in Los Angeles, where her father worked as a stage manager, producer and director on numerous Fox television shows and her mother was a scriptwriter. Her performance in a grade school Christmas play caught the eye of a talent agent in the audience, so at the age of eight, Stewart began auditioning for film and television roles. She landed a bit role in the Disney Channel TV production, “The Thirteenth Year” (1999) and snared a more substantial part two years later in Rose Troche’s challenging independent drama “The Safety of Objects” (2001), in which she played the tomboyish daughter of troubled single mom Patricia Clarkson. Stewart found herself at the center of a major Hollywood production in 2002 when she was cast as the juvenile lead in David Fincher’s “Panic Room.” Despite the presence of such veteran actors as Jodie Foster – to whom the youngster bore a remarkable resemblance – Stewart held her own and delivered an assured performance that led some critics to compare her skills to Foster’s early style. Bangladesh lost both their practice Twenty20s

Bangladesh lost both their practice Twenty20s to a Zimbabwe Select XI yesterday at the Country Club ground in Harare. It wasn't the most pleasant ways to begin another tour of the African nation though the unofficial standing of the tour means that it will be part of the Tigers' learning curve in the format.
After a middle-order collapse in the first game, the visitors made 126-7 which was chased down by the Africans in 19.3 overs. After the three-wicket loss in the first game, Bangladesh found the second snatched away by Hamilton Masakadza's 58-ball century. The visitors, making 156-7 in 20 overs chasing 176 to win, lost by 19 runs as they head into the tri-nation Twenty20 competition which begins tomorrow.
The Tigers had lost the tour opening three-dayer at the same venue last year too, but the team management led by new coach Richard Pybus would take heart from Abul Hasan's work with the new ball and also Jahurul Islam's enforcing role.
FIRST GAME
Choosing to bat first, Bangladesh made a fine start through openers Tamim Iqbal and Mohammad Ashraful, who has been recalled into the national setup after a six-month hiatus, moving to 50 runs in 6.1 overs. But the left-hander fell for 29 off 30 balls, to end a 64-run stand.
When Ashraful fell for 32 to make it 71 for two, a big score was still in the offing but the Tigers suffered a sudden collapse in the face of leg-spinner Graeme Cremer and part-timer Malcolm Waller. Losing Nasir Hossain (5), skipper Mushfiqur Rahim (3), another comeback man Junaed Siddiqui (12), newcomer Ziaur Rahman (0) and Abdur Razzak (2), the Tigers were reduced to 91 for seven in the 16th over.
Mahmudullah Riyad, the vice-captain, and Mashrafe Bin Mortaza added 35 for the eighth wicket in the last four overs to add a bit of meat to the 20-over total.
Cremer took 4-14 from four overs while Waller finished with three for 14.
The hosts started their chase poorly, losing openers Vusi Sibanda (14) and Hamilton Masakadza (12) by the end of the Powerplay before Riyad removed Ervine (caught & bowled for six) and skipper Brendan Taylor (nine) to reduce the Zimbabwe Select XI to 56 for five in the eleventh over. Regis Chakabva was snared by Elias Sunny, but the following partnership, 58 runs for the seventh wicket between Elton Chigumbura and Cremer, was enough for the hosts to win the first game of the tour.
Hasan, Sunny and Riyad took two wickets each. (See more hot bd model pictures click me)

Spain 4 : 0 Ireland

Defending champions Spain are on course for the Euro 2012 quarterfinals after their 4-0 thrashing of Ireland on Thursday put them top of Group C with the Irish bowing out.
For all their endeavour in defence, Ireland struggled constantly to cope with the torrent of Spanish attacks as Chelsea's Fernando Torres proved he is back to his best with two clinically-taken goals.
Having decided the Euro 2008 final with the winning goal against Germany, Torres netted either side of Manchester City's David Silva second-half strike before his replacement Cesc Fabregas added the fourth seven minutes from time.
With 66 per cent ball possession, 26 shots on goal, 20 of which were on target, Ireland goalkeeper Shay Given had a busy night as Spain dominated while Ireland managed just six shots on goal in total.
The win puts Spain top of the group on goal difference and level on four points with second-placed Croatia, who Vicente del Bosque's world champions face here at Arena Gdansk again on Monday.
Having suffered their second defeat after losing 3-1 to Croatia on Sunday, Giovanni Trapattoni's Ireland will exit after the group stages.

Hindi Film "Shanghai"

You have so far seen him in his casanova image in raunchy films but Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi believes his latest film “Shanghai” has given him a makeover.

“In 'Shanghai', directed by Dibakar Banerjee and released recently, one finds a new Emraan -- dark, with a paunch and buck tooth, far removed from the actor you have seen in box office hits like 'Murder', 'Gangster', 'Jannat' and 'Dirty Picture'.

“For me, this film has reconstructed the perception that people had about me. After this, whatever role I play, it should be as unpredictable as this. I want to surprise the audience,” Emraan told reporters here last week while doing the promo of his latest movie.

First day of the rainy season

Yesterday was the first day of the rainy season in the Bengali calendar. Though city dwellers have been experiencing occasional heavy showers over the last couple of weeks, with the official arrival of monsoon, summer is now over. Through separate cultural programmes -- featuring recitation, dances and songs -- Bangladesh Udichi Shilpi Goshthi (Dhaka Metropolitan branch) and Satyen Sen Shilpi Goshthi welcomed monsoon yesterday. Udichi welcomed the season with a colourful programme held at the Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA), Dhaka University. Artistes of the organisations performed several choruses. The event mainly featured songs on rain written and composed by Tagore, Nazrul and DL Roy, as well as Adhunik and folk numbers. The Satyen Sen Shilpi Goshthi programme, titled 'Borsha Utshab 1418', was held at Hakim Chattar, adjacent to Central Library of Dhaka University. The event featured solo and choral musical performances (Rabindra and Nazrul Sangeet). The event was sponsored by Banglalink.
